Puya Turquoise Hand Painted Silk Scarf Triangle
Description
This scarf is hand-painted by Keka with a watercolor technique. Its big triangle shape makes it perfect to wear on your hair or hip for a colorful touch to your day. Because the color moves freely across the fabric, no two scarves come out exactly alike.

About the Flower
Puya (Puya alpestris / Puya berteroniana) is a large bromeliad native to central Chile, known locally as chagual azul. Its towering flower spikes bloom in an intense turquoise — one of the most unusual colors found in Chilean flora — and draw hummingbirds from across the hillsides where it grows.
From the Brand
Keka is a Chilean textile artist working in silk painting. Every piece carries the small, unrepeatable marks of something made entirely by hand. Keka draws her palette and motifs from Chile's native flora, translating the color and gesture of its endemic flowers onto silk.
